Parliament House Renovation: Innovative Access Solutions 

SIS was tasked with providing full access to the façade while protecting the public from falling debris during the Parliament House renovation. The prestigious nature of this landmark building required exceptional attention to detail and safety throughout the project implementation.

Our designers created an innovative solution using raker and pressure ties, avoiding the need for socket base ties which would have been unsuitable for this historically significant structure. To overcome space limitations around the Parliament precinct, we utilised a gantry for out-of-hours equipment loading, eliminating the need for a large laydown area that would have disrupted the busy government district.

This carefully planned approach minimised disruption to parliamentary operations and optimised site efficiency throughout the renovation process. With meticulous planning and execution at every stage of the project, SIS is proud to be ahead of schedule in completing this important work on one of the nation’s most significant buildings.
